Evolved from passion of good quality food

A qualified Home Economist, who specialised in recipe development and food photography, Bea has always had a passion for good food and cooking, as well as a keen interest in the provenance of what we eat. A great communicator who has worked in the public sector for 30 years, Dawn's interest in good quality food has developed since having a family. Both are concerned about the rise of processed food, ready made meals and the effect on our health of numerous additives and preservatives that are added to even the basic of foodstuffs. We are food enthusiasts and take as much pleasure in the preparing our food as we hope you will in eating it.

Food for thought

Both have had a yearning to start our own catering service for many years, and we have both been enthusiastically encouraged by friends and family following numerous dinner parties, buffets, barbecues and children's parties, the opportunity appeared to be slipping by. The partnership was born out of preparing the food for a retirement function in 2005. The quality of the food attracted many positive comments from guests, as well as the staff where the party was being held, and a number of the people stated we should do this on a more regular basis. So, after many months of research and preparation, "SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS" was born. We are now a well established business and still as concerned over the way food is prepared and its presentation.
